**A lone wolf could be seen running across the flatlands in leaps and bounds, a long gash across her silvery back, it was bleeding, though she took no notice. She was the only one left alive of a scouting patrol, the others had been killed by ambush. She had fought with every muscle in her body, until finally, she was the only one left of either side. s She didn't want to run, she had to run, she forced herself to run, she would run until she collapsed.
Her breath came in deep gulps, as she tripped and stumbled over the field. She new she had to get back to Cyrus's army, or they would track her down. This she new.**

Azrah's disappearance had not gone unnoticed at Castle Lutra. He had been sent on a long range patrol to the south and had not returned or sent news. Unfortunately there were not many available beasts to be sent out to search for him so only a few searchers had been sent traveling alone and secretly so as not to attract unwanted attention.
Holly had been given the task of traveling straight south through the forest and beyond while others had been sent slightly east and west or her.
She had cleared the forest with no signs of the party returning only a few marks that could have been the patrol on their way south. She had been in the flatlands now for a day and was beginning to think about turning back. She had just sat down so that she could have a small snack and observe her surroundings.
Something caught her eye over slightly to the east. At first she thought it could have been one of the other searchers. That was until she realized that whatever it was, was heading back north and as she looked longer she could see that it was moving strangely. Running.
She turned south and could pick up a small cloud of dust behind the figure far behind but moving fast.
Holly sprang up throwing her small knapsack on her shoulder she took off at a run to intercept the lone figure checking her saber at her side as she ran.
She caught up faster than she expected and soon realized it was Azrah. She called out. "Azrah, its me Holly," "Slow down or you will kill yourself with exhaustion."

**Azrah herd the voice, barely, just barely, and she was so shocked to find someone else out on the plains, that she stopped mid jump, and with a bump crashed straight into the ground.**
Huh? What, who did you say you were?
**She called out, before noticing her companion and calling back,** oh, it's you Holly, come a little closer, I can barely hear you, what did you say? snow down on hill? What hill?** She asked, throughly puzzled, she hadn't herd half of what Holly had said, and the half she had herd, about a quarter of it she had understood. What she had herd was: ..rah it mean hole. Snow down... hill yersif wif...

Holly could easily tell that something was not right with Azrah. What had happened to him she wondered.
She took a few steps closer now that Azrah had realized who it was. "I said, You should slow down or you will kill yourself with exhaustion." She called louder. Then hoping that Azrah could now understand her she said in a loud clear voice. "What happened to you, and where on earth is the rest of the patrol?" Holly then spied the long gash on Azrah's back which she had not noticed at first. She immediately started to make a dressing out of some herbs she was carrying especially for this mission in case she found someone injured. "Azrah you must let me treat that would, I don't know how you were running at such a speed with a wound like that."
Holly could easily tell that something was not right with Azrah. What had happened to him she wondered.

BIG: **Azrah glared at Holly and replied in both a confident and exasperated tone,** I am running a solo patrol and am fine, I can keep up that pace for an hour.
**That was not necessarily true, she could have kept up the pace for maybe half an hour before fainting, twenty minutes before having to slow down and jog.**

OOC: didn't mean to write him oops.
IC: Holly looked stunned. A solo patrol she though. But she had been informed before she left on the search that Azrah had been leading a patrol. Something was not right.
"Well at least let me look at that shoulder, we do not want the blood to ruin your fine pelt now do we." Holly stated hopefully.
She hoped that one of the others would turn up soon and help her understand the situation. She continued to search through her herbs searching out the correct ones.
